 Thirteenth Annual Fall Tea Party

Community residents will receive a bag of tea in the mail along with a description of our organization and a request to donate money to support our cause. This is a great way to participate in a community activity without stepping out of your own home! Kick back in your favorite chair at home, drink a cup of tea, enjoy a good book, and think about the 20% of residents in our county who are functionally illiterate. Then donate money to us by mailing back the donor card or donating the money through a credit card via our website. If you do not have an invitation please call or email us and we will send you an invitation!
2nd Annual Race/Walk for Literacy
Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009; 8 am; at Polo Grounds Point West (registration begins at 7 am)

Please join us in our 5K Race/Walk for Literacy. Entry fee is $20 per person and $25 at the door. Participants may run or walk in support of literacy in Indian River County. This is a wonderful way to show your support AND get (or remain) in shape. T-shirts will be provided at no charge to the first 100 participants who sign up. Awards and light refreshments will be provided. You may pay by check or select "Make a Donation" to pay. Please complete the race entry form as that is required.  Ninnth Annual Love of Literacy Luncheon

International author Stephanie Keating will be the featured speaker. Admission is $45 per person if RSVP before 3/17 (otherwise price is $50). Our students of the year and outstanding volunteers will be recognized. It is a great way to show support to our volunteers and students as well as have the opportunity to have a wonderful lunch and hang out with well-known authors.
